There are few things kids like more than Goin’ on an Adventure that ends in finding themselves some treasure! Cole’s Pirate Birthday Party was no exception. This group of scallywags had a great time training to become pirates and loved finishing the day with fistfuls of treasure.
The Pirate Birthday Party started with the kids divided into two teams, where they played Cannonball cleanup. Kids gather cannon balls and throw them over a net at the other team. This game is so much fun and gets the kids really moving as they run and dodge incoming cannon balls. All while trying to heave their balls back over the net.
Once our adventurers were all warmed up we began our Pirate Birthday Party fan favorite Storm the Ship game. This game has guests boarding a ship, launching canonballs, stealing treasure and battling their way back to shore. Once they master these skills we introduce the final game mechanic, a silly magical octopus. Guests dodge and attack the ocotopus so they can avoid being turned into a crab. They always love this game, especially when they are wielding swords that give them the power to chop off a giant octopus’ tentacle!
Pirate Birthday Party Puzzle Boxes
From there we moved into the last phase of the party, the Goin’ on an Adventure Puzzle Boxes.
We finished up this Pirate Birthday Party by completing the final puzzle to unlock the treasure. The puzzle had the birthday kid aligning ancient pirate skulls into their correct locations.
