How The Hour Went

We got to the backyard in Edison, New Jersey early and set up Ellis's Among Us birthday party. This is a real-life hour, not kids sitting on screens. The ship was ready before anyone walked in.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Ellis. Then we put them on the jobs.

Tasks ran in rounds around the yard. The ship would not take off until the crew finished the list. The crew headed back out after each meeting. Ellis went with them.

They piled in for emergency meetings to talk about imposters, then headed back out for more tasks. We closed at the ship puzzle boxes.

Happy birthday again, Ellis. Pizza came out after we packed up, then cupcakes and party favors.
