FAQ
Our parties are designed to touch on all STEAM concepts. Children are challenged to think, explore, move, recognize patterns, solve problems and enjoy their way through a thought-provoking story. We emphasize creativity, teamwork, inclusion, kindness, and grit, and push their imaginations so they teleport out of your backyard and into the center of the tale.
Most parties follow three parts. A quick warm up gets everyone moving. Themed games with real props keep them running. Puzzle box stations bring them back down with hands-on puzzles and imaginative play. Then we hand them back to you calm and ready for cupcakes.
You can browse every theme on our birthday parties page.
You get a 1-hour immersive adventure with puzzles and games, one or more specially trained adventure guides, and props for the kids to interact with. We are insured. Favors, food, and decorations are the fun part you get to handle.
Adventure parties are $399 for one hour (local pricing; regularly $425). That includes up to 12 children. Extra kids are $14 each. A $50 deposit holds the date, and it comes off your total. $399 is the minimum even if fewer kids show up. If you are 10 to 20 miles from Cranford, travel is $30.
The price covers up to 12 children, and extra kids are $14 each. We can usually host up to 25, and more for some themes if the space allows. Siblings are only added if they jump into the activities. A very young kid who drifts in and out does not count.
Please tell us how many you are inviting. If that number moves by more than 5 kids either way, let us know so we can staff a healthy guide-to-kid ratio.
Each theme has a recommended age range so the kids get the most out of the puzzles and games. Most adventures are a great fit around 4 to 10. You can see the ages on every theme when you browse or book.
We come to you: a backyard, a local park, or a large indoor event space. The kids just need room to run around comfortably with the full guest list.
We stay in New Jersey, within about 20 miles of Cranford. Within 10 miles, travel is included. 10 to 20 miles adds a $30 travel fee.
We have done parties at YMCA spaces, indoor courts, town rec centers, and local parks. Those all work. The most important thing is that the kids have enough space to move around. Our parties get them moving and active, so they need room to run.
The adventure itself is about an hour. We arrive 30 to 45 minutes early to set up so you are ready right at start time.
Sorry, we built our adventures specifically for one hour. The story, games, and puzzles are timed to that window, so we cannot extend it.
When you book, we assign an alternate rain date for the invitations. It is usually the next day at the same time, or the same day the following week if that slot is taken. Sunday parties stay on a weekend — they never move to Monday.
A $50 deposit holds the date, right here on this page. It comes off your total, and the rest is paid to the party leader on the day of the party.
Yes. You can peek at every theme on our birthday parties page.
Life happens, and we will work with you. We have yet to keep a deposit, and we will update this if that ever changes.
Sorry, we stick to the adventure itself: the hour of activities, props, and puzzles. Favors, food, and decorations are the fun part you get to handle.
