We got to the backyard in Warren, New Jersey early and set up Troy's Jedi Escape Jakku birthday party. The path was ready before the first guest arrived.
We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Troy. Then the hour started.
The kids were Jedi crash-landed on Jakku. The ship would not leave until they earned enough credits, so they worked through tasks and games around the yard. Each one added another handful of credits.
Troy stayed on the jobs until the count was high enough. Puzzle boxes added more credits. Then the ship could leave, and that is where the hour ended.
Troy counted the credits out loud as they came in.
Happy birthday again, Troy. Pizza came out once the hour was packed up, then cupcakes and party favors.
Stay Adventurous,
Ginny
