How The Hour Went

We got there early and set up Hogwarts in the backyard in West Orange, New Jersey for June's Harry Potter birthday party. We were ready when the guests arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to June. Then they got sorted into houses.

Quidditch came next, first match on the grass. June's house stayed on the Quidditch pitch as long as we let them.

After the match they earned wands from the puzzle boxes and a trail of clues. Once everyone had a wand, the hour closed with a wand battle.

Happy birthday, June. We stayed for pizza and cupcakes, then sent everyone out with party favors.
