A storm had already hit the Unicorn Kingdom when we set up in Otis's Verona backyard. The kids had to get everyone through the gates.

How The Hour Went

We got to the backyard in Verona, New Jersey early and set up Otis's Rainbow Unicorn birthday party. A storm had already hit the Unicorn Kingdom. We were ready when the guests arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Otis.

They started by clearing debris the storm left in the yard. Then they had to get inside the gates: racing carrots in and sweeping wreckage while the storm chased them around the grass.

The storm chase was the part Otis wanted again.

Once they were through, they sat with the rainbow puzzle boxes to put the kingdom back together.

Happy birthday again, Otis. Pizza came out after we packed up, then cupcakes and party favors.
