We got to the backyard in Morristown, New Jersey early and set up Greta's Sonic birthday party. The path was ready before the first guest arrived.
We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Greta. Then the hour started.
A speed race came first, just to see if they could keep up with Sonic. Cleanup was next. Eggman's leftover bombs were all over the course. Two teams swept their side and heaved the bombs onto the other team.
Then Eggman rolled in. Kids grabbed claws, scooped bombs, and hurled them into the sentry towers while he blasted fire cannons. Greta stayed on the towers. Then we opened the Sonic puzzle boxes, and that is where the hour ended.
Greta stayed on the sentry towers and waited for the next one to fall.
Happy birthday again, Greta. Pizza came out once the hour was packed up, then cupcakes and party favors.
