How The Hour Went

We got to the backyard in Rahway, New Jersey early and set up Ivy's Descendants birthday party. The path was ready before the first guest arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Ivy. Then the hour started.

The kids started as Villain Kids stuck on the Isle. Mal had left clues. They followed them, unlocked the treasure box, and claimed the stepping stones.

Then it was across the sea, stone by stone, to Auradon. Ivy was in that crossing. Then we opened the Descendants puzzle boxes, and that is where the hour ended.

Ivy would not leave the stepping stones until she had crossed again.

Happy birthday again, Ivy. Cupcakes followed the pizza, then we sent everyone home with party favors.
