We got to the backyard in Fanwood, New Jersey early and set up Nina's Descendants birthday party. The path was ready before the first guest arrived.
We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Nina. Then the hour started.
The kids started as Villain Kids stuck on the Isle. Mal had left clues. They followed them, unlocked the treasure box, and claimed the stepping stones.
Then it was across the sea, stone by stone, to Auradon. Nina was in that crossing. Then we opened the Descendants puzzle boxes, and that is where the hour ended.
Nina followed every clue before she would step onto the stones.
Happy birthday again, Nina. We sat down to pizza after the boxes, then cupcakes and party favors.
