Fanwood parties are often Pokémon, Harry Potter, Sonic, or Super Mario. We have run them at houses and at LaGrande Park, and we bring the same hour either way. We bring the games, puzzles, props, and adventure guides.

How Many Kids

Up to 12 children included, $14 for each extra. We can usually host up to 25 if the space allows.

Adventure guides, fun themed games that get the kids moving, plus props and puzzle boxes.

Where It Happens

Most Fanwood parties happen in the backyard. LaGrande Park on LaGrande Avenue has fields, a pavilion, and a rec building. Forest Road Park has a rec building with a kitchen if you want to be inside after the games. The Basin behind Borough Hall is a grassy bowl that also works. Families here also use the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA on Martine Avenue in Scotch Plains.

Travel

Within 10 miles of Cranford, travel is included. We also run parties in Scotch Plains, Westfield, Cranford, and Mountainside. 10 to 20 miles adds $30.

Survivor

Tate's Survivor Birthday Party

Tate's Survivor party was at LaGrande Park in Fanwood. He had named the tribes and we made custom buffs. His sister had a princess party at the same time, so the park felt like two birthdays at once. Blindfold Buffs had kids yelling directions the other team could not use.

Olive's Rainbow Unicorn Birthday Party

We had to run Olive's Unicorn hour on a small Fanwood lawn. She stayed at the gates and checked each carrot as it came through. The storm chase happened around her. She would not race until she had counted the pile, then she joined for one pass and went back to the gates.

Silas's Spies Birthday Party

Silas's team kept their side of the lawn clearer than the other. We had not even run the towers yet. They asked to do the cleanup twice, and we reset it. Then he took the field test and came back for a second pass. His side stayed the clean one.

Nina's Descendants Birthday Party

Nina followed every clue before she would step onto the stones. We waited in her Fanwood yard. The other kids had already claimed spots. She checked the last clue again, then crossed. After that she made two friends recross with her so nobody skipped a stone.

Pokémon

Hugh's Pokémon Birthday Party

Hugh wanted one more catch after we called time. Parents were already in his Fanwood yard. He stayed at the catching table with one Pokéball left and would not walk over until he had used it. We stood with him. He used it, showed us, then went to say goodbye.
