How The Hour Went

We got there early and set up Hogwarts in the backyard in Madison, New Jersey for Calvin's Harry Potter birthday party. We were ready when the guests arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Calvin. Then they got sorted into houses.

Quidditch came next, first match on the grass. The wand battle at the end was the station Calvin wanted to keep going.

After the match they earned wands from the puzzle boxes and a trail of clues. Once everyone had a wand, the hour closed with a wand battle.

Calvin, happy birthday once more. Pizza and cupcakes were next. Party favors went home with the guests.
