How The Hour Went

We got to the backyard in Madison, New Jersey early and set up Brooks's Monster Trucks birthday party. The path was ready before the first guest arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Brooks. Then the hour started.

The engines needed warming and the track was dirty. The kids got the motors running, then swept the dirt.

Monster Truck Madness was next. They raced from one side of the yard to the other without spinning out on the oil slicks. Brooks kept lining up for another run. Then we opened the Monster Truck puzzle boxes, and that is where the hour ended.

Brooks kept racing the oil slicks and did not want the track to close.

Happy birthday again, Brooks. Pizza and cupcakes were next, then party favors.

The Hour
