A storm had already hit the Unicorn Kingdom when we set up in Sage's Madison backyard. The kids had to get everyone through the gates.

How The Hour Went

We got to the backyard in Madison, New Jersey early and set up Sage's Rainbow Unicorn birthday party. A storm had already hit the Unicorn Kingdom. We were ready when the guests arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Sage.

They started by clearing debris the storm left in the yard. Then they had to get inside the gates: racing carrots in and sweeping wreckage while the storm chased them around the grass.

The storm chase was the part Sage wanted again.

Once they were through, they sat with the rainbow puzzle boxes to put the kingdom back together.

Happy birthday, Sage. After the hour it was pizza, then cupcakes, then party favors.
