A storm had already hit the Unicorn Kingdom when we set up in Lena's Union backyard. The kids had to get everyone through the gates.

How The Hour Went

We got to the backyard in Union, New Jersey early and set up Lena's Rainbow Unicorn birthday party. A storm had already hit the Unicorn Kingdom. We were ready when the guests arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Lena.

They started by clearing debris the storm left in the yard. Then they had to get inside the gates: racing carrots in and sweeping wreckage while the storm chased them around the grass.

Once they were through the gates, Lena sat with the rainbow puzzle boxes and did not get up.

Once they were through, they sat with the rainbow puzzle boxes to put the kingdom back together.

One more happy birthday to Lena. Then pizza, cupcakes, and favors for the walk out.
