Eloise was the reason we were in Union, New Jersey, and it was a Survivor birthday she had been waiting for. She watches the show with her mum and dad and her younger sister, and she had a bunch of her girlfriends there. We introduced ourselves and had the kids shout happy birthday.
The river crossing was the one to watch. We turned into a crocodile out there, snapping at their feet as they worked their way across, and the girls could not stop squealing and screaming.
We ran Blindfold Buffs in the front yard, and you could hear the screaming and the laughter from the backyard the whole time they were out there.
The relays got really competitive. They were battling each other and trying to steal things from one another.
One of the girls got a long way into the tree puzzle, and if she had had a little more time she probably would have finished it.
Her tribe was the sole survivor.
We shouted happy birthday one last time and left them to pizza, a pinata, and cupcakes. Great hour, Eloise. We hope you felt it.
Stay Adventurous!
Ginny
