Metuchen has been Pirate, Pokémon, and Super Mario for us. We have run the hour at the Metuchen YMCA on High Street, and we also set up in yards and at Centennial Park. We bring the games, puzzles, props, and adventure guides.

What A Party Includes

One hour, up to 12 kids. A $50 deposit holds your date and comes off the total.

How Many Kids

Up to 12 children included, $14 for each extra. We can usually host up to 25 if the space allows.

What's Included

Adventure guides, fun themed games that get the kids moving, plus props and puzzle boxes.

*Favors, food, and decorations stay with you.

Where It Happens

Most Metuchen parties happen in the backyard. The Metuchen YMCA on High Street is a gym we have used. Centennial Park and Tommy's Pond Park have room to run. Borough recreation spaces cover rain if the Y is booked.

Travel

Within 10 miles of Cranford, travel is included. We also run parties in Edison, Clark, Westfield, and Rahway. 10 to 20 miles adds $30.

Pirate

Reed's Pirate Birthday Party

Reed's pirate party was at the Metuchen YMCA on High Street. Once the kids had their swords they boarded for the crossing. They fired a cannonball at the mast and raced back with treasure while a guide tried to catch them. Reed wanted that run again, and the gym had the room for it.

Callum's Pokémon Birthday Party

Callum's Pokémon party was at Centennial Park. This group of trainers showed up already knowing what they wanted. They earned coins, turned in Pokéballs, and spent the hour catching and battling on the grass. Callum wanted one more catch after we called time, and he stayed at the table until he got it.

Super Mario

Pax's Super Mario Birthday Party

Pax's Super Mario party was at Tommy's Pond Park. Bowser already had the Super Stars. After a speed warmup, two teams swept Bob-ombs, shells, and bananas off the path. Once it was clear they stole the Super Stars back from Bowser. Pax wanted that last run himself.

Esme's Frozen Birthday Party

Esme's Frozen party was in a Metuchen backyard. Sven had already lost his carrots. The kids hunted those carrots across the yard, then put Olaf back together. Esme stayed on the carrot hunt and kept bringing them in until we called time. She wanted one more pass.
