We got to the backyard in Livingston, New Jersey early and set up Sawyer's Dinosaur birthday party. The path was ready before the first guest arrived.
We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Sawyer. Then the hour started.
The kids played paleontologist. Eggs were out around the yard, and they had to gather as many as they could without getting caught by the apex predators.
Sawyer went back out even after a catch. Then we opened the dinosaur puzzle boxes, and that is where the hour ended.
Sawyer would not stop hunting eggs even after the first catch.
Happy birthday again, Sawyer. We sat down to pizza after the boxes, then cupcakes and party favors.
