How The Hour Went

We got there early and set up Hogwarts in the backyard in Livingston, New Jersey for Stella's Harry Potter birthday party. We were ready when the guests arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Stella. Then they got sorted into houses.

Quidditch came next, first match on the grass. Sorting took a minute, then Stella's house headed straight for the grass.

After the match they earned wands from the puzzle boxes and a trail of clues. Once everyone had a wand, the hour closed with a wand battle.

Happy birthday, Stella. After the hour it was pizza, then cupcakes, then party favors.
