How The Hour Went

We got there early and set up Hogwarts in the backyard in Maplewood, New Jersey for Miles's Harry Potter birthday party. We were ready when the guests arrived.

We introduced ourselves and the kids shouted happy birthday to Miles. Then they got sorted into houses.

Quidditch came next, first match on the grass. Miles wanted a wand and stayed on the puzzle boxes until that one was theirs.

After the match they earned wands from the puzzle boxes and a trail of clues. Once everyone had a wand, the hour closed with a wand battle.

Miles, happy birthday once more. Pizza and cupcakes were next. Party favors went home with the guests.

The Hour
