Scotch Plains families book Pokémon, Avengers, Pirates, and Survivor more than anything else. We come to your house, and the kids stay in the story for the full hour. We bring the games, puzzles, props, and adventure guides.

Most Scotch Plains parties happen in the backyard. For a park, Brookside Park on Hetfield Avenue and Green Forest Park on Westfield Road both have room to run. Jerseyland Park has a picnic pavilion if you want shade. Indoors, the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA on Martine Avenue and the township recreation buildings are the usual rain plan.
Within 10 miles of Cranford, travel is included. We also run parties in Westfield, Fanwood, Cranford, and Berkeley Heights. 10 to 20 miles adds $30.

Pokémon
Felix named every catch out loud at Brookside Park on Hetfield Avenue. We set the table on the grass, and the rest of the kids started doing the same. By the end of the hour it was a roll call. He would not let us pack up until he had said the last one.
Paw Patrol
Jayce would not spin the mission wheel until Rubble's pile was gone. We were in the gym at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA on Martine Avenue. When the next pup came up he ran that job too. He asked for one more spin after we called time. He took it.
Spies
Teddy wanted the run home from the towers more than the cleanup. We put the path through his Scotch Plains yard. A guide popped out and tagged half the line. Teddy still went back in. He got a clean return on the last try and held his hands up like a score.
Super Mario
Noah wanted the Super Stars himself. We swept a path through the shells in his Scotch Plains yard after a short warmup. He waited at the far end and took the last grab. Then he carried those stars back to the start and would not put them down.
Harry Potter
Kids kept arriving while the first group was already on the grass. Sadie stood by the table in her Scotch Plains yard and called houses for the late ones. We started Quidditch when she said they were ready. She stayed with the last kid until that kid had a house too.
We change the kids' names when we write these up. Everything else is what happened.
